Thermal weed control is an environmentally friendly method that kills weeds using heat instead of chemicals. The heat – often in the form of hot water at around 100-105 °C – destroys the plants’ cell walls, preventing them from surviving or growing further. It is an effective and sustainable solution that does not require pesticides.
The hot water hits the plant and penetrates the tissue. The energy from the heat causes the cells to burst, and the plant withers. Over time, the roots are weakened and die. The method works on both small and large plants – and is gentle on the soil, as it only uses water.
Hot water is just as effective as chemical agents, but far more environmentally friendly. Most weed species die after one treatment, while perennial plants such as dandelions require a few repetitions. The effect typically lasts for 6-8 weeks, depending on the season and growing conditions.
Yes, it can be used on virtually all hard surfaces such as tiles, asphalt, concrete, kerbs and paths – without damaging joints or surfaces. Unlike high pressure and gas, hot water does not blow soil and sand out of the joints.

Yes, our equipment can run on Bio Diesel and HVO Biodiesel. Using biofuel significantly reduces CO₂ emissions, and HVO biodiesel can reduce CO₂ emissions by up to 85% compared to regular diesel. This makes operation more sustainable without compromising performance.
Yes, our GreenHeat Mini is equipped with a battery-powered generator. This means you get quiet, flexible and emission-free operation, which is ideal for parks, cemeteries and residential areas where low noise levels and green operation are important.
